Seeking the Kingdom- Judging the wrongs of others requires a protocol. Specks and logs, pigs and dogs. They will all be involved in what Jesus teaches us this week.

Purpose Statement:
The children’s ministry of Resurgence exists to proclaim who God is and what He’s done – to the next generation in a safe, loving, and caring environment filled with praises to God.
Resurgence Kids:
Nursery and Toddler Departments will meet during worship service to allow parents to attend undistracted, but the ministry is much more than just babysitting. Our goals are: Praise God, Learn Bible basics, Develop social skills
K- 8th Children’s Departments will also meet during worship service.
K-4th Our goal here is teaching Basic Bible knowledge (timeline, Old & New Testaments, authors, etc.) Children receive age-appropriate lessons that are centered on biblical truths, reinforced with practical life application, and enriched by a craft or game.
5th -8th Our goal here is to go beyond basic Bible stories (Noah, David & Goliath, etc.) to establish a firm knowledge of the entire Word of God. Preparing students to be salt and light in their culture for the cause of Christ

LIFEGROUPS

Life Group is not just a once a week meeting for an hour to study scripture. Life Group is not a program, it is shared life. Life Group is a place to build honest relationships through learning God’s Word and how to live it, to share joys, and to support each other in the midst of struggle.
We have found that in this world, growing more like Jesus Christ is easier when there are other’s around you holding you up and spurring you on. For this reason, we have Resurgence Life Groups. Life Groups are individual groups consisting of 8-12 people, where we study the word of God and share our lives with others in the community of Christ.
Our goal within these groups is to clear a path to becoming more like Christ through a deeper understanding of God’s word and deeper sense of community amongst believers. Life Groups meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the year at homes in the Evansville area. Life Link events will be held two to three times per year (September, May and possibly in January, if needed) to help integrate you into a group that will help you grow.

We encourage you to join us on Sundays at 4:00 PM and seek God during our worship gatherings. This provides an opportunity for you to
connect with God and experience the new life that is available in Jesus Christ.
The fact is that God is speaking through His Word and we are listening for what He is saying to us. We look forward to seeing you there.
