FIRST OF THE MONTH FELLOWSHIP

First of the Month Fellowship is a two fold ministry.(Members/Visitors) FMF allows members of the church to be servants to each others in the preparation of the meal and grow relationships as they share the meal together. For visitors it allows interaction with members on a more personal level. While conversations before and after service can foster friendships, sharing a meal with others can build a more family like relationship.

RESURGENCE WOMEN

How can I, as a woman, get involved and form close relationships with other godly women?

Resurgence Women is for women of all ages to help women grow in their relationship with God. We offer weekly bible studies through a convenient blog site; http://resurgencewomen.wordpress.com/, biweekly accountability meetings, and service/social meetings 6 times a year in Oct, Dec, Feb, April, June, and Aug. HFTR EVANSVILLE

Hope for the Rejected is a ministry supported by Resurgence Church. HFTR is a community of believers within the underground subculture. We believe that faith in Christ, and His Gift of Grace, is not to be forced on people. But shared in a relevant way through our friendships. We believe that Christianity exists outside of culture. Therefore, being a Christian Doesn’t necessarily determine how you dress, what music you listen to, or what you do for fun. All of us belong to different subcultures (based on tastes in music, political beliefs etc.) but as Christians we are all united by belief in Jesus Christ. Hope for the Rejected exists within Resurgence to fill a need, the need to spread the love of our Savior to the underground punk, hardcore and metal subcultures; people whom much of the mainstream church has ignored entirely, or simply does not understand. One of our most important goals is to promote friendship and unity, within the Church and within the culture. To this end, we hold frequent social events and gatherings that are open to all. These events include weekly bible studies, shows and special events.

BEGINNINGS CLASS

So what is Resurgence all about? What are your goals and beliefs as a church? Our “Beginnings” class is designed to help you answer these questions and to get you connected with other believers in the church. In attending this class, you will be going over the structure, beliefs, essentials, and vision of Resurgence, while receiving a copy of our Constitution, By-Laws, and Articles of Faith. If you are simply wanting to know more about Resurgence, feel free to attend so that you can be informed! There is no pressure to join, but if you are interested in authentic community and serving in the Kingdom of God, here is the perfect place to start!
